Heavy and Specialist Equipment
Profiling beds, patient hoists, bariatric equipment and heavy medical scales require specialist freight handling and cannot be delivered through standard parcel networks. Orders for these items are fulfilled via our specialist freight partners.
Standard freight delivery is a kerbside or ground floor drop-off. If you require room-of-choice placement or basic assembly assistance, please contact us at cs@caresupplies.com or call 01226 596112 before placing your order to confirm availability and any additional charges that may apply. We will always aim to accommodate the access requirements of care home sites and home care environments.
Please confirm that access routes, doorways and installation areas are clear and suitable for delivery prior to your scheduled delivery date. For care home deliveries, please advise us of any loading bay restrictions, access codes or site-specific delivery requirements at the time of ordering.
Discreet Packaging
We understand that many of our products are of a personal or sensitive nature. All continence products, personal care items and infection control supplies are dispatched in plain, unbranded outer packaging. There is no indication of the contents on the exterior of any parcel. We are committed to protecting the dignity and privacy of patients and residents in all aspects of our service.
Institutional and NHS Delivery
We supply NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Boards, local authority social care departments and private care groups. We accommodate institutional procurement requirements including purchase order processing, delivery note compliance and consolidated delivery to multiple addresses within a care estate.
Care home managers requiring delivery to loading bays, restricted access sites or with specific delivery window requirements should contact our team prior to ordering. We will confirm arrangements to ensure smooth delivery to your site.

Delivery Charges
Standard delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions and destination of your order. Orders over £75 ex VAT qualify for free standard mainland UK delivery on eligible items. Specialist freight charges for heavy or oversized items will be confirmed prior to dispatch.
